Terms of service

These terms cover this website and the DealRuntime service at app.deal-runtime.com.

Effective 23 September 2026

Accepting these terms

By using this website or the DealRuntime service, you accept these terms. If you are using the service for an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept them on its behalf. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

What DealRuntime is for

DealRuntime is a business tool for managing brokered commercial transactions. It is made available for authorized business use by people who have been granted access. It is not a consumer product, and it is not offered for personal use.

Your account

You are responsible for your account and for anything done with it. Keep your credentials to yourself, do not share access, and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has obtained access. Actions taken through your account are recorded against you in the audit trail.

Connected integrations

Integrations such as Gmail are connected only when you explicitly authorize them through the provider. You can disconnect at any time from the settings screen.

You must have the lawful right to connect the account you connect, and the lawful right to the data you submit or make available through it. If a mailbox or an account belongs to your employer or a client, connecting it is your responsibility to get right, not ours.

What the service does not promise

DealRuntime helps you run a transaction workflow. It does not close deals. Nothing in the product is a guarantee that a transaction will complete, that a payment or fee will be made, that revenue will be earned, that a legal outcome will be reached, or that a counterparty will do what they said they would do.

DealRuntime is not a law firm, an accountancy practice, a broker of record or a financial adviser, and nothing it produces is legal, tax, accounting or investment advice.

AI assisted output

Some features use AI to produce analysis, summaries, suggested next actions and drafts. That output is a proposal for a person to review, and it can be wrong, incomplete or out of date.

You must apply your own judgement before acting on it, and you remain responsible for decisions taken and for anything sent to a counterparty. The product is built so that AI cannot approve, accept, waive, authorise or transmit anything on its own; do not rely on it as though it could.

Acceptable use

You may not use DealRuntime to:

  • break the law, or help anyone else to,
  • access an account, mailbox or organization you are not authorized to access,
  • upload or connect data you have no right to,
  • probe, disrupt or attempt to circumvent the security, authority or tenancy controls of the service,
  • resell or provide the service to a third party without our agreement,
  • send unsolicited or abusive communication, or harass anyone.

Availability and change

DealRuntime is in private development. Features may change, be added, or be withdrawn, and the service may be unavailable at times, including for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. We do not offer a service level commitment at this stage, and we do not pretend to.

Ownership

The service, including its software, design, structure and documentation, belongs to us. These terms do not transfer any of it to you, and they grant you no right to copy, reproduce or create derivative works from it.

Your data stays yours. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service for you, including storing, processing and displaying your data back to you and to others in your organization who are entitled to see it.

Disclaimer and limits

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as it is and as it is available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non infringement.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profit, lost revenue, lost business, lost or missed transactions, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access where it is being misused, where it presents a security risk, where it breaks these terms, or where we are required to. Where it is reasonable and safe to do so, we will tell you first. You may stop using the service at any time.

Governing law

DealRuntime is operated in private development and no operating entity or governing jurisdiction has been published yet. We will state both on this page when they are established, rather than naming a jurisdiction here that does not yet apply. Until then, nothing in this section should be read as a choice of law or forum.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will change the effective date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant and we can reach you, tell you directly.
